UAE: Dubai Dancing Fountain

Set in Burj Khalifa Lake and located just outside Dubai Mall, Dubai Dancing Fountain is the largest dancing fountain in the world. It is probably one of the best things that one can do while in Dubai... and it's for free! I guess when people say that some of the best things in life are free, this is definitely one of them.

Video 1: Instrumental Medley

Video 2: I Will Always Love You

Video 3: The Prayer

Which dancing fountain show do you prefer most? Personally I'd say "The Prayer" is my 2nd favourite because I do have another favourite, which is "Time to Say Goodbye". Yet to get the chance to record the fountain dancing to this tune however. Soon, I hope.

In the meantime, hope you guys have enjoyed the videos above.

    1. I have another one but the video is not that good. Also attempted to capture "Time to Say Goodbye" (which is my favourite!) on video that same night but my camera battery went kaput. It was really frustrating but instead of letting it get to me, I just decided to watch and enjoy the show :-)

    2. Yup. primarily we should enjoy the view ourselves. Bateri kaput tu a sign u shud stop recording and embracce the moment haha

    3. But I did get to enjoy all the other shows that're captured on videos above because I used a tripod, haha! The shaky part at the beginning of "The Prayer" video is because someone at the next table knocked on my table when she got up to watch the fountain :-(

    1. Very true, Janggel. But if you've been to Dubai Mall/ Burj Khalifa development area, I bet you can't help thinking that it's somehow "inspired" by KLCC development to a certain extent. The tallest tower, a shopping mall (one of the biggest in the world), the promenade and a lake in one area. Even the colour of the outer wall of Dubai Mall reminds me of Suria KLCC. For the fountain show however, they used the same company that came up with the fountain at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. And I think in this case, KLCC fountain was "inspired" by Dubai dancing fountain :-)

    1. Yup, dari TGI Friday. Mmg tak dpt nak dielakkanlah bunyi2 pinggan mangkuk dan juga suara2 sumbang yg menyumbang kpd audio video, haha!

  5. Kak, thank you for the recommendation. TGI Fridays resto ada di 3rd floor kan? Pernah lewat depannya. Dinner + fountain view worth it lah. Semoga ada waktu lagi kesana, karena 3 days left & still so many things to do. Besok mau desert safari.
