Greece: A Postcard from Cape Sounion

This is just another postcard entry.
The postcard shows the Temple of Poseidon, built some 2400 years ago. Located in Cape Sounion, the southernmost tip of the Attica peninsula in Greece, it makes a good destination for a half-day trip from Athens.

    1. Hi, Time Traveller Boy! The Greeks and the Romans tended to build similar temple for each of their deities and since they had plenty of deities, there're plenty of somewhat similar temples around the land of their former empires :-)
